Who can use DuesSync?

DuesSync is currently available to Knights of Columbus councils in the United States. Access is approval-gated — the Financial Secretary or Grand Knight submits a request, which we review before granting access. During the Founding Council Program (open until 20 councils sign up), founding councils get the full platform free through June 30, 2027.

What is the Founding Council Program and how do I apply?

The Founding Council Program is open to 20 councils. Founding Councils get full platform access, every role, free through June 30, 2027; standard bracket pricing at renewal; priority input into the product roadmap; priority support directly from Lloyd; and early access to new features. The only requirement is one 15-minute feedback call per quarter — four calls across the year.

Does the council pay credit card processing fees?

Accepted Answer

No. The council pays $0 in processing fees. Members who choose to pay online by card cover the standard Stripe processing fee (2.9% + $0.30 per transaction), shown transparently at checkout. Bank/ACH transfers carry a significantly lower fee.

Does the Supreme Council endorse DuesSync?

Accepted Answer

No. DuesSync is an independent fraternal utility — not an official product of the Knights of Columbus Supreme Council. DuesSync supplements the Supreme Council's System of Record; member data flows one way only, from Supreme Council CSV exports into DuesSync.

Who owns the membership data once it is synced into DuesSync?

The local council remains the sole owner of its membership data. DuesSync acts only as a data processor — we store and manage data on the council's behalf and will never sell or share it. Councils can export their data anytime.

Question 6

What happens to our records if DuesSync ceases operations?

Accepted Answer

If DuesSync is ever discontinued, we commit to providing reasonable advance notice and a full, structured export of the council's data — member records, payment history, billing status, notice logs — before any shutdown. No council will be left without their records.

Do members need to create an account to pay their dues?

Accepted Answer

No. Members receive a secure, personalized payment link and pay in under 2 minutes — no account required, no password, no app download. The link is tied to their council record so the payment auto-reconciles.

Question 8

Can multiple officers access the platform?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The Financial Secretary can invite council officers — Grand Knight, Deputy Grand Knight, Treasurer, Trustees — with appropriate access levels. Multi-officer access is included at every pricing tier.
