The model assumes a 15-percentage-point lift in collection rate (capped at 95%), 75% of dues-paperwork hours eliminated, 60% of audit-prep hours, 70% of roster hours, and 85% of postage. These come from beta-council reports; your mileage varies. Time savings count toward the headline only when you assign a non-zero hourly value.

What the model assumes

  • Collection rate lift: +15 percentage points (capped at 95%). Reflects what beta councils saw within one full cycle of automation. Your council may do better or worse.
  • Time savings: 75% of dues paperwork, 60% of audit prep, 70% of roster filings. Time savings only count toward the dollar headline when you assign an hourly value (FS time is volunteer; many councils still value it at $25-50/hr to honor the real opportunity cost).
  • Postage: 85% reduction (some members will still need paper). The remaining 15% is sized into Print Queue.
  • Replaced tools: 100% — DuesSync covers broadcast/SMS, payment portal, audit trail, and reconciliation. If you keep an external tool, subtract that line.
  • DuesSync subscription: $180/year for ≤100 members, $300/year for ≤300, $480/year above. Billed once at the start. Founding Council pilots are free through June 30, 2027.
