Fellow Membership Director — the short version
You own the council's growth. The Membership Director is appointed by the Grand Knight and works closely with the Program Director, Financial Secretary, and the field agent — recruitment is fueled by good programs and clean records.
What the role does
The Membership Director leads recruitment and retention efforts, coordinates Exemplifications of the Degrees, tracks progress toward annual membership growth goals, and ensures new members are welcomed and engaged.
- Recruitment — Run church drives, open houses, and online (e-membership) sign-ups; keep a prospect pipeline.
- Exemplification of the Degrees — Schedule and coordinate the Charity, Unity & Fraternity exemplification for candidates.
- Retention — Watch for at-risk members and re-engage before they fall to a Knight Alert.
- Welcome & engage — Make sure every new member gets a mentor, a program to plug into, and a reason to stay.
