Fellow Youth Director — the short version
You run the council's youth programs and report to the Program Director. Much of your work supports the Family and Community pillars, and several programs are Columbian Award credits in their own right.
What the role does
The Youth Director guides youth programs — Columbian Squires mentorship, scouting support, scholarship administration, Coats for Kids, athletics, and other programs that serve young people in the parish and community.
- Coats for Kids — Order cases of new winter coats and distribute them to children in need.
- Columbian Squires — Support a sponsored Squires Circle (often handed to a dedicated Squires Advisor).
- Scholarships & athletics — Administer council scholarships and run programs like Soccer Challenge and Free Throw.
- Scouting support — Back parish scouting troops and faith-based youth groups.
