When to use it
Use this to mark each member's "Knighthood anniversary" — the date of their First Degree ceremony (join date is used as a fallback). Milestone years (1, 5, 10, 25 Silver, 50 Gold, 60+ Diamond) get special recognition, and the message is tailored to their degree — newer members are nudged toward advancement, long-tenured ones are invited to mentor.
Step by step
- Open Roster → Service Anniversaries. The header pill shows Enabled or Disabled.
- In the Service Anniversary Emails card, flip the toggle on — you'll get a confirmation toast.
- Click Preview sample email to generate a real AI email from one of your long-tenured members — nothing is sent.
- Once enabled, the daily job sends each member's anniversary email automatically on the day.
- To send on demand: when members hit an anniversary today, the Today's Anniversaries panel appears with a Send Now button.
Tips & gotchas
- The anchor date is the First Degree date; if that's missing, the join date is used. Members in their first year (anchor less than 1 year ago) are not emailed.
- Postal-only, no-email, bounced, and opted-out members are skipped.
- One anniversary email per member per calendar year — no double-sends.
- Inactive members (type N) are excluded.
- The KPI strip (Sent / Delivered / Bounced) covers the current calendar year. Demo councils don't send.
