Fellow Life Director — the short version
You run one of the four Faith in Action pillars. You report to the Program Director, and your activities earn credits toward the Life pillar of the Columbian Award.
What the role does
The Life Director coordinates pro-life programs — March for Life participation, Ultrasound Initiative fundraising, pregnancy center support, memorials for unborn children, and refugee assistance.
- Ultrasound Initiative — Raise the council's half and Supreme matches it — placing ultrasound machines in pregnancy centers.
- March for Life — Organize council participation in national and local marches and prayer vigils.
- Pregnancy center support — Volunteer hours, baby showers, and material support for centers serving mothers in need.
- Memorials & refugee aid — Memorials for unborn children and support for refugees and the displaced.
Where it shows up in DuesSync
Your Grand Knight (or FS) assigns this role on Programs → Program Directors, and the assignment flows straight onto Form #365 (the Service Program Personnel Report). Your pillar's activity also feeds the Columbian Award scoreboard and Form SP-7, which the Program Director compiles and the Grand Knight co-signs.
For the big picture — how all of these roles fit together — see Program Director, the role that coordinates the whole slate.
Source notes. Duties follow the Knights of Columbus Faith in Action program framework, Form #365 (Service Program Personnel Report), and the Grand Knight Handbook (#915). Program names are the Order's current flagship programs and vary by council and year. Send feedback if anything's off.
